Salvation: How To by ExaltGod Salvation: How To by ExaltGod
EDIT: I've reworded this stamp a bit.  Don't worry, the message of salvation hasn't changed, I'm just trying to make this stamp as clear and easy to understand as possible.

1) Realize you are a sinner, and that this separates you from God, who is perfectly righteous.

Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;"

Romans 3:10-12
"as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
there is none that understandeth,
there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way,
they are together become unprofitable;
there is none that doeth good, no, not one."

Habakkuk 1:12-13
"Art thou not from everlasting,
O Lord my God, mine Holy One?
we shall not die.
O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment;
and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil,
and canst not look on iniquity:
wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously,
and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?"

Psalm 145:17
"The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works."

And neither am I by ExaltGod

2) Understand the penalty for sin (Hell).

Because God is 100% just and 100% righteous, He must punish sin.

Deuteronomy 32:4
"He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he."

Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death..."

Amos 2:4
"Thus saith the Lord;
For three transgressions of Judah,
and for four,
I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because they have despised the law of the Lord,
and have not kept his commandments,
and their lies caused them to err,
after the which their fathers have walked:"

All sin will be punished:

*either through Jesus' death on the cross
*or by you going to Hell

John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Hell is Real by ExaltGod

How did Jesus' death on the cross pay for our sins?
Jesus, who never sinned once, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice to pay for sin.
As the spotless lamb of God, He shed His perfect blood for our sins, and took on the Father's wrath for our sins.

A) The physical, bloody death of Jesus was required for the price to be paid:

Romans 5:10
"For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

Ephesians 1:7
"[JESUS CHRIST], in whom we have redemption through his blood
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

Leviticus 17:11
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood:
and I [GOD] have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls:
for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."

Isaiah 53:5
"But he [JESUS CHRIST] was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed."

B) Jesus took on God the Father's full wrath towards the sin that He held in His body:

Isaiah 53:10
"Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief:
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin..."

John 18:11
"Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath:
the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?"

Revelation 14:10a
"The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation..."

1 Peter 2:24
"[Jesus Christ], who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree..."

Nothin but the Blood of Jesus by ExaltGod

3) Believe that Jesus (God in the flesh ) died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again the 3rd day.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Matthew 12:40
"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly;
so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

Romans 4:22-25
"And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead
who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."

 God's Not Dead by ExaltGod

4) Put your faith in Jesus' sacrifice as the only thing that can pay for your sins.

Romans 3:24-25
"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Romans 5:9
"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

Romans 5:11
"And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom we have now received the atonement."

A Ransom For Many by ExaltGod

5) Trust in Jesus alone to forgive & save you.

John 14:6
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Ephesians 1:12-13
"that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"

Romans 4:5
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."

Romans 5:1
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"

Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Colossians 2:13
"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;"

Faith in GOD by ExaltGod

Repentance, even though it isn't mentioned by name on this stamp, is part of salvation.  Repentance is simply "a change of mind".
And that's clearly explained here in this stamp.
You have to change your mind about being a sinner, knowing the penalty of sin, believing what Jesus did for you, trusting in what He did to pay for your sins, and having faith in Him to forgive and save you.

Here's a stamp I made on repentance: STAMP…
"God requires that in order to be saved one must truly repent [Acts 20:21, 2 Corinthians 7:10]. The word means "a change of mind" and there must be that concerning God, sin and salvation. Men think that sin does not really separate them from God--they must change their mind about that. Men think that salvation is by works--they must change their mind about that. There is nothing more evident today than the absence of repentance among those who are professing to be converted."

One final point:
As stated in the stamp, we're saved when we believe on, put our faith in, and trust Jesus and what He did to save us.
We are NOT saved by "being a good person", or "doing our best to serve God".

Titus 3:5
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

Is it good to serve God and do good works?
But if you're trusting in your good actions to save you, you're going to go to hell.
You must trust solely in Jesus Christ's righteousness, His blood and death on the cross, burial, and resurrection for salvation.

He is perfect, but He is not all-loving.  A good God cannot love sin.
But He is ruler of all, and there's really nothing you can do about that.
No, I will not "tone it down".  I will obey God and continue to reprove sin.

Don't cuss on my page.

He died for all, and you've rejected that.  So He hates you justly.  Enjoy your block.

let me tell you a little thing

there is no human being who never sins
everyone sins and everyone is a sinner

a good god like the one you believe in would accept everyone and everyone's choices, not just the ones to praying his name
hell is just a pity excuse to scare the little ones

mother nature is more real then your god
she accepts and forgives
she lets people live and knows when some need to die

now please do everyone a favor and stop shoving your Christianity down our throats c:

Yepperdoodles, everyone's a sinner.  Can you show me where I've ever said otherwise?

A good God, a God that is good, cannot by definition accept that which is bad
A good God cannot tolerate evil.  Cannot tolerate sin.
A good God is also merciful, and wishes to save us from the consequences of our sin.
That good God chose to die as a sacrifice for our sin, in order to offer us the gift of salvation.
A good God will not force this gift on anyone, but let us choose by our own free will whether to accept it or not.
He is a good God.

Nature exists, but only because God the Father created it.
Furthermore, nature is not sentient.  You are delusional.

Please do me a favor and stop equating freedom of speech with bodily assault. :meow:

Did you go to kindergarten dear?

GOOD, a.
Having moral qualities best adapted to its design and use, or the qualities which God's law requires; virtuous; pious; religious; applied to persons, and opposed to bad, vitious, wicked, evil.

RIGHTEOUS, a. ri'chus.
Just; accordant to the divine law. Applied to persons, it denotes one who is holy in heart, and observant of the divine commands in practice; as a righteous man. Applied to things, it denotes consonant to the divine will or to justice; as a righteous act. It is used chiefly in theology, and applied to God, to his testimonies and to his saints.

And of course you just turn out to be a depraved moral relativist like all the others. :facepalm:

No dear, God's definition of good is the correct one, because He's God.

Do ME a favor, you illiterate fool, and go look up what the word FORCE actually means.

Don't. Write. Novels.

God supernaturally authored the Bible, used 40 human men to physically write it down.
God exists because nothing can exist without a creator.
There is historical evidence of Jesus' existence outside the Bible.
But let's not forget the fact that the Bible is a historical record itself.
I will tell you how to get saved, just like a firefighter will tell someone how to escape a burning house.
You're not a strong human being.  None of us are.  We're not capable of "dealing" with our own sin.  Only God can atone for it.
I don't know why specifically 2000 years ago.  God has His timing set for certain reasons, and for whatever reason that was the correct time.

Romans 5:6
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."

I'm criticizing your intelligence, because you don't seem to know what the word "force" actually means.

Who created God?

God is outside of time, has no beginning, and therefore has no creator.  He is the first cause.

Wait, so by saying he cannot tolerate sin, you're saying we all go to Hell or stay in Purgatory for eternity?
ExaltGod Featured By Owner May 3, 2015
We all deserve hell because we've all sinned.
God has offered us all the free gift of salvation (you know about that, you commented on my salvation stamp) to anyone who will accept it.
Purgatory is not in the Bible.

So bascially if they don't worship your God, they are going to hell? Your God doesn't sound like a "good" God. More like of a backstabber if you ask me.

Leviticus 20:13, 23
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination:
they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation,
which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things,
and therefore I abhorred them."

Psalm 5:4-5
"For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness:
neither shall evil dwell with thee.
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight:
thou hatest all workers of iniquity."

Psalm 11:5
"The Lord trieth the righteous:
but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth."

Hosea 9:15
"All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them:
for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house,
I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters."

John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Romans 9:13
"As it is written, Jacob have I loved,
but Esau have I hated."

Colossians 3:5-6
"Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth;
fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection,
evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
for which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"

Anyone can get saved, but that does not mean God accepts our sin.

Do not attempt to attack ministry on my page.

The description of this stamp, which you foolishly state is "going a bit too far", is 95% Bible quotes.  Do you think God's holy word "takes it a bit too far"?  How blasphemous of you.

If a person does not realize they're a sinner, understand the penalty for sin is hell, believe that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, was buried, and rose 3 days later, trust in Jesus' sacrifice as the only thing that can atone for their sins, and trust in Jesus alone to forgive and save them, then they will not be saved and will go to hell.

Yep, now I see your God tend to be a jerk just because they don't believe in him. At least Satan is nicer than God.

If you think the One who died for you and now offers you free salvation is "meaner" than the one who wants nothing more than you eternal destruction, you need counselling.
